Corporation (NYSE: LZ), announces their participation at BrasilPlast 2007 tradeshow in Sao Paulo,
Brazil. BrasilPlast, in its 10th year, is an International Plastic Industry Tradeshow targeting
manufacturers, technicians and trade professionals.
A new line of soft Estane® TPUs and high chemical resistant TPUs are now available. Estane®
58070 is a 72A plasticized polyester grade thermoplastic polyurethane. It offers outstanding low
temperature flexibility and durability in extreme conditions. Its robust properties make the material
especially suited for hoses and tubes used to convey chemicals or petroleum-based products.
Estane® MVT 75AT3 (75A) and X-1007 (70A) TPUs are non-plasticized polyether grades with
high flexibility and high breathability. This combination makes them an ideal choice for protective
garments, personal care products, strapping, soft touch products and some medical applications.
New grades of Estane® TPUs are also being
offered for improved chemical resistance
against fuels such as biodiesel, styrenics,
perchloroethylene and acetone. These new
grades include, Estane® -X-1181(85A),
Estane® X-1130 (90A), and Estane® HS85DN
(85D). Estane HS85DN
TPU is a new class of polymer with very low
permeability to hydrocarbons for high clarity.
The chart shows Estane HS85DN TPU offers better performance than other polymers regarding
gasoline transmission rate.
