Noveon, Inc. Becomes Lubrizol Advanced Materials, Inc.

CLEVELAND, OH, July 19, 2007 – The Lubrizol Corporation (“Lubrizol”) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Noveon, Inc. has changed its name to Lubrizol Advanced Materials, Inc., respectively. This name change reflects Lubrizol’s recent decision to discontinue the broad use of “Noveon” in favor of “Lubrizol Advanced Materials” around the world. Subsidiaries of Lubrizol in Europe and Asia will similarly change their names this month. In the future, “Noveon” will only be used in connection with Lubrizol’s consumer specialty products. ### Estane® is a registered trademark of The Lubrizol Corporation.
