Wire and Cable
A wire or cable jacket must protect the primary insulation from the environmental damage of weathering, hydrolysis or physical abuse.
Over the years, TPUs have been replacing PVC and chloroprene rubber, particularly in dynamic cable applications - cables that must be reeled, stored, and unreeled in extreme outdoor climates; dragged over rocky terrain, desert sands or arctic ice; dunked into waters; or twisted, bent or roughly treated.
