Medical
Beginning with the commercial introduction of Tecoflex® aliphatic TPU in 1983, we have continued to supply the medical device industry with an outstanding array of thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs). Each of our family of products...
...has been specifically formulated to have good biocompatibility, flexural endurance, high strength and processing versatility over a wide range of applications. Our family of TPUs are used in many medical devices with new applications continually being found by device manufacturers who encounter demanding tissue or blood contact situations.
Optical
We offer the laminator information in the lamination of flat, bent and/or spherical security transparencies and speciality laminations. The information is generic by design and will apply to many configurations and compositions.
We have taken a highly technical approach to the optical transparency industry. There are currently thousands of polyurethane formula variations that allow us to custom manufacture a polymer specific to an application. Physical, optical, thermal and mechanical properties can be formulated during the polymerization and extrusion processes to yield a product unique to its application.
Interlayers made from Tecoflex aliphatic polyurethane resins are specifically formulated to produce optical laminations of glass, polycarbonate, acrylic, CAB (cellulose acetate butyrate) PET (polyethylene terephthalate) or combinations thereof.
Industrial
We cater to specialty applications where custom polyurethanes are required. We will work closely with you to develop a resin that will meet the needs of your custom application.
